Today (Filipino story PART 4.)

Seems that I have forgotten completely to write anything here….or actually I had many stories in mind, but somehow just left in there in my head, spinning now and then around in my mind but never finding their way out as writing from there.

My favourite was Christmas, which I was going to write before Christmas. This is such a Christmas Country that there would be a lot to write.

-Like those plastic Christmas trees lined up on the staircase of La Plaza in the middle of September after we arrived from our Finnish vacation. With 10-30% offer -tags on the trunk, stock from last year.

-Like all that endless carroling that went on and one evening after evening even after Christmas. Children, youth, adults, elderly with variable instrument and voices, knocking on your door.

-Like that shopping of sparkling wine and whiskey for the Philippino guests before the Christmas eve, and hurr and blurr here in the house when they finally arrived. When they left Santa had forgotten to some of the presents on the cuboard, but it did not spoil the magic. Our first own Christmas in own home.

And of course after our beautifull beautifull New Year in Kokoos Nest http://www.kookoosnest.com.ph/ or travelling to Siquihor before that, driving around with our green Adventure, like a traditional old fasioned family holiday.

Actually, yesterday we went to the main post office of Dumaguete to search for the lost parcel from Finland….sent in November from Kitee. There it was untouched and according to the gate keeper: “oh that, yes, just arrived yesterday….” I have a feeling that it was there already when we were enquiring other parcel (which also had arrived just the day before or any of these days). I think I saw it this parcel from Kitee, with yellow Finnish post box, but had not confimred from home wether the parcel was going to be in such a box.

So just please send your parcells in colorful boxes, and we will be for sure able to search and find them from the pile of boxes in the central post office of the town. Yesterday it was then actually celebration of dealeayed Chritmas moment all the way from Korvatunture. Even we had Finnish guest yesterday, through CouchSurfing http://www.couchsurfing.org/ so it somehow fitted well with the atmosphere.

The story of today was going to be my stomach bug that grapped me and later Olga who came early home from school after vomiting in the classroom. Now we have been playing these lying vegetables on the floor and watching the TV whole afternoon. And because of this, eventually, I have accepted 28 friend requests in facebook, updated profile with our current location and few nice pictures, invited tens of people to enlarge linkedin network, and all in all after gaining some strenght socialised on these platforms more that in the last half a year counted together.

So that is the story of today, and I hope it will not be the only one in next three months.
